Prince of Peace
Prince of Peace.
"My talent is a gift from God given to me to help others," says 9 year old painter Akaine Kramarik. Since age 4 her mind has been filled with dreams and visions of God, Jesus, Angels and Heaven - a constant inspiration for many of this little girl's drawings, paintings, allegories and poems. Prince of Peace was painted by Akaine at age 8. In only 40 hours Akiane captured the light, love and compassion of Jesus she had been witnessing in her visions for 4 years...
Akaine says, "Love and truth are represented on the light side of Jesus' face, the other is of darkness and suffering. But there's still light in His eyes. This light is a reminder that He is ALWAYS with us."
Read the book "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo. Get it off of Amazon.com. It'll change your whole perspective on Heaven and encourage you mucho mucho in your faith. Easy and quick read. Read it and we'll discuss afterwards. xoxo
I also like how Akaine portrayed Jesus as a handsome man. I know that the Bible says he was an ordinary, not necessarily attractive man...but the normal pictures we see of Jesus can be...disturbing. This is a good picture of Him...makes me happy, and comforted.
